What I Do
What I Do
I help people eliminate pain and balance physiological processes,
so they are better able to
do the things they enjoy in life!
Below is a list of modalities I practice.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture
Acupuncture improves the body's functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating acupoints with the insertion of fine, sterile needles into the specific points on the body. Acupuncture is a 3,000-year-old healing technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Cupping
Cupping
Cupping involves placing glass, or plastic jars on the skin and creating a vacuum by suctioning out the air. The underlying tissue is sucked upward, partway into the cup. The purpose of cupping is to enhance circulation, help relieve pain, remove "heat" and pull up stagnant blood and toxins from deeper layers to the body's surface so that they can be more easily eliminated.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
Chinese Herbal Medicine
For some patients, herbal medicine can be a very effective form of treatment. Along with acupuncture, natural herbal supplements can help bring the body back into balance and can serve as an effective way of continuing treatment even while not in the office receiving acupuncture. Only reputable, high quality sources of herbs are used.
Electro-Stim
Electro-Stim
Electro acupuncture, also known as e-stim, involves the application of gentle electric current to acupuncture needles to further stimulate the acupuncture points. The use of e-stim provides controlled stimulation to the acupuncture points without causing tissue damage. It is used for the treatment of a wide range of ailments and is particularly useful for treating pain problems and chronic conditions.
